ProblemFord Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Transit vehicles. The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, causing a loss of brake function. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems."RiskA loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.FixOwners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26C07. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on February 18, 2026.

The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.RiskAn unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.FixRollx will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.RiskA frozen or missing rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.FixThe accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years.
