Garage Showroom · free

Your cars, with the numbers they left the factory with.

A public page for your garage: each car’s exact trim, its horsepower and torque, what it came with, and your own photographs. No profile picture, no real name, no follower counts. Just the cars.

How it works

  1. Add your car to your Garage. By its VIN, or by year, make and model. The Garage is free and keeps its recalls, problems and service record private to you.
  2. Confirm the trim. WhichTrim matches the VIN against the manufacturer’s press kit and EPA’s records. Usually it knows; sometimes it asks you to pick between two or three.
  3. Add your photos. Up to 12 a car. Each one is checked before anyone sees it: it has to show a car, be in focus and be safe to publish. Plates and faces in the background are blurred, and the location is removed.
  4. Publish and share. Your garage gets its own address, whichtrim.com/g/yourname, and every car its own page and link card. Share it anywhere; list it in Browse if you want strangers to find it.

What never appears on a public page

Your VIN. Your service log, its costs and notes. Your email address or name. The nickname you gave a car in the private Garage. Your state, your mileage, or where any photo was taken: every photo is re-made from its pixels, so the GPS position and the rest of the file’s hidden data never reach the page. The private Garage stays private; the Showroom shows only what you switch on.

Questions

Source: WhichTrim

Is it free?

Yes, like the Garage.

Can people find my garage?

Only if you want them to. A published garage is reachable by its link and hidden from search engines. Switch on “List in Browse garages” and it appears in Browse, on the model-year page for each car, and in search.

Where do the factory numbers come from?

From the manufacturer’s own press kit for that model year and EPA’s records, matched to your car’s trim. When a press kit lists several trims’ figures in one cell, the page leaves that figure out rather than guess. Changes you made to the car go in a separate “Owner’s modifications” section, labelled as yours.

What happens to a photo that fails the check?

It is deleted and never published, and the editor tells you why: out of focus, too dark, no car in it, or a photo of a person rather than a car.

How do I take it down?

Stop showing your garage in one click from your Garage; every page is gone at once. Deleting the Showroom also deletes your photos and gives your garage name back. Removing a car from your Garage removes it, and its photos, from the Showroom too.
