NHTSA publishes every safety recall a manufacturer files. We read that file nightly and publish what changed, which is why an item can appear here before the letter reaches the owner. Nothing on this page is rewritten or ranked by us beyond putting the advisories first.

A recall covers a build range, not a model year, so nothing here settles whether one particular vehicle is affected. NHTSA's VIN lookup does.
