I was traveling at ~65mph on the freeway when the sunroof spontaneously exploded. It was louder than a gunshot—I nearly lost control of the vehicle. The explosion occurred in the outward direction. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who confirmed that there was no emergency fuel door release. The vehicle was repaired.
