Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the seat belts. Nothing here is a rate.

In owners’ own words

When locking in the seat belt it will click and lock and a few seconds later will unlock. 4 of the seats are doing this, including the front seats and once the seatbelt pops out, unlocking we are usually driving down the road and its dangerous to try and pull over and get it locked in place again just for it to unlock a few minutes…
In the middle row captain's chairs, the seat belts constantly come unbuckled even while moving... I've had 11 adults and nine children sitting in those middle rows- All having the same issue including myself when I allowed someone else to drive my vehicle. Nobody even has to push the red button. It just will suddenly unbuckle by itself.
Rear passenger seat belt has unbuckled / unlatched itself multiple times during driving. Unbuckles with passenger in seat
Drivers side seatbelt will sporadically, unlatch on its own. No particular conditions seeming involved. Just buckled one moment, and then unbuckled on its own the next
the second row seat belts come disengaged while driving. We will buckle in our child, double check it is locked by pulling on seat belt and a couple minutes later it will disengage from the buckle and come undone. This is happening on a regular basis with our Palisade and the dealer/corporate office has no notes on this issue.
