we have had the seatbelt come unbuckled twice in second row seat. I am being told by the dealer that there is "no remedy" for this problem. I am also being told to continue to drive my car even though the seat belt buckles may fail in an accident
The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V607000 (SEAT BELTS); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.
I’m writing to report a serious safety concern with my 2024 Hyundai Palisade (VIN: ). The second-row seat belt on the passenger side does not retract or stay secure properly. It often remains loose or gets stuck when pulled, and sometimes won’t tighten back automatically.
The driver's side seat belt does not buckle when it is cold outside. It takes several attempts for it to latch
On a brand new vehicle from day one the driver's side seat belt disconnects at random times despite being correctly buckled and fastened. It happens during standard driving conditions even when simply maintaining a steady speed. This is life threatening for my wife.
