CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN: OWNER NOTIFICATION (CS2312) - This document is the owner notification advising that Kia is conducting Customer Satisfaction Campaign. A software upgrade that addresses the social media theft method has been made available to owners of eligible Kia model vehicles free of charge at authorized Kia dealers since 2023. In addition to the anti-theft software, a new zinc-reinforced ignition cylinder protector hardware upgrade has been developed and can be installed at the ignition cylinder location to provide additional protection against the social media theft method. Because the subject Kia vehicles were not factory-equipped with an engine immobilizer and were previously eligible for the software upgrade, these vehicles are eligible until March 31, 2027, to have the ignition cylinder protector installed—if requested—at no cost through an authorized Kia dealership. (Mailing of these notifications to vehicle owners will be completed from December 17, 2025 through February 27, 2026)

My 2020 Kia Soul, I only have it for 2 weeks and the fog lights got wet and foggy, I took the car the dealer and spoke to service, and order new parts, to install in the car, it really concerns me that a brand new car get these fog lights wet, which can cause a safety issue, since the light will not work properly with this lights foggy…

the drivers side passenger sliding door will not latch or close properly. The door started opening while driving and would not close. Luckily i had no children in the car at the time. The safety of my CHILD or any passenger could have been at risk. Driving while a van door is OPENING. I am taking it to the dealer this morning.

The size door makes a grinding noise and will not open sometimes. It does the same when I try to close it. On average it is about 50/50 and I AM concerned that #1 it will not shut one day when we need to drive it, and #2 since the door does not open and close properly what if it does not stop if someone is in the way of it?
