Audi bulletin A9124132058769_7

What it saysThis bulletin provides information when the parking aid does not work sporadically; DTC B107BF0 or B10FCF0 stored in the driver assist systems. NHTSA’s full summary ↓

Audi filed this with NHTSA as a service bulletin dated May 10, 2024, received Jun 25, 2024, about the engine — 2 documents under this number. It names 85 model years (2019–2025). A service bulletin is not a safety recall: it is the manufacturer telling its dealers how to diagnose or repair a condition, and whether the work is paid for depends on the warranty in force. Quoting the number at a service desk can save a diagnosis.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

What owners reported

Source: NHTSA complaint database

Owners of the 85 model years this bulletin names have filed 943 complaints with NHTSA since 2015. 201 of them name Engine — the same broad component group this bulletin is filed under. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so that means the same area of the vehicle, not necessarily the same fault.

The first time, while driving at 50-55mph, the engine decelerated suddenly. After about 10-15 seconds struggles with the gas pedal and brake pedal, the car accelerated normally. I pulled safely to side of the road to shut off the engine and start again. Things seemed to work like normal. The control panels did not show any warning signs.

2021 Audi A7 · Engine · filed with NHTSA Apr 5, 2026 · ODI 11729313

My Audi RS6 has experienced a failure involving the engine cooling system/water pump that requires repair. This appears to be a recurring issue among C8 RS6 owners. Other owners have reported water-pump failures, coolant loss, overheating, drivetrain malfunction warnings, turbo underboost faults, and vehicles entering reduced-power or…

2024 Audi RS · Engine · filed with NHTSA Sep 22, 2026 · ODI 11766216

We are told by Audi dealer service that our entire water pump system is defective and needs to be replaced at a cost of $5000+. We've had Audis subject to past recall and class action settlements. This is an ongoing, known issue for Audi for over a decade. Frustratingly, our 2020 SQ7 model is not included in any current recalls.

2020 Audi SQ7 · Engine · filed with NHTSA Jul 25, 2025 · ODI 11676169

A complaint is one owner’s account, not a defect finding, and a bulletin is not a recall. Nothing here says this bulletin was issued because of these complaints, or that the repair it describes fixed them. Complaint files on this site begin in 2015.

Common questions

Source: NHTSA, 49 CFR 579.5

Is Audi A9124132058769_7 a recall?

No. A service bulletin is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.

Is the A9124132058769_7 repair free?

Not automatically. A service bulletin describes how to diagnose or repair a condition; who pays depends on the warranty in force, any extension, and the dealer. Quoting the number can save a diagnosis either way.

Which vehicles does A9124132058769_7 cover?

The manufacturer filed it against 85 model years: 2025 Audi A6, 2024 Audi A6, 2023 Audi A6, 2022 Audi A6, 2021 Audi A6, 2020 Audi A6 and more. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
