I was pulling a 10k lb trailer from California to Arkansas. While passing a semi truck my vehicle lost engine power and left me without power steering or brakes. I was luckily able to make it to the right shoulder, vehicle would not start. Dealership found the Bosch CP4 injection pump to have failed at 15,000 miles.
We were traveling SE on I-30, in the passing lane, doing approximately 75 MPH when the vehicle started shuttering. It was subtle at first, then became more violent. The engine lost power and we had to do an emergency lane change with no engine power, no power steering, no power brakes.
Fuel pump is not good and is a safety issue that can lead to complete engine failure and possibly a crash
I was traveling and around 655 miles from home. My truck was idleing and started making a loud knocking noise. I turned it off and then it wouldn't start again. I called chrysler roadside assistance and had it towed to the nearest dealer, bluebonnet chrysler dodge and Ram.
Windshield broke . Nothing hit it. I turned the defrost on and it just started cracking. Transmission is slipping DEF pump went out hub caps keep flying off
