Problem Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2021 NV200 Van, 2014-2017, 2019 NV200 Taxi, and 2015-2018 Chevrolet City Express vehicles. The Fuel Tank Temperature (FTT) sensor harness may have been incorrectly routed, damaging wires and causing a short circuit in the fuel pump fuse. Risk A blown fuel pump fuse can cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will inspect and reroute the FTT sensor harness or replace the fuel pump assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. Nissan's number for this recall is PMA56. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov October 10, 2025.

Air bags did not deploy at all. Was at complet stop and hit by a vehicle that was at a rat of speed of 65mph+ and then was pushed into car ahead that was stopped( was "sandwiched").passenger has extensive injuries including but not limited to broken face bones and fractured back.

we own a Nissan NV 200 that was getting an air bag error light on the dashboard. We took it to a local nissan dealership in Dayton NJ who said the airbag sensor under the passenger front seat was damaged and the seat will get stuck because since it came loose from it support it looks like it got stuck int he seats track.

Safety Signal starts every model-year at 100 and subtracts points per open NHTSA recall campaign by severity: critical 15 (fire risk, park-outside or do-not-drive advisories), high 8 (brakes, steering, airbags, loss of drive power, structure, battery), moderate 6, minor 3 (software, labels, lighting fixed by an update). The most serious recall counts in full and each further one counts 85% of the one before, because a vehicle sold in millions is recalled more often than a rare one without being more dangerous — and because a flat subtraction bottomed the scale out, scoring a vehicle with 22 recalls within a point of one with six. A ≥ 90, B ≥ 80, C ≥ 70, D ≥ 60, otherwise F. Read it as what it counts: recall campaigns on the federal record, weighted by severity.
