The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. While driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle stopped moving. The contact stated that the engine was still running, but the accelerator pedal felt as if the gear were in neutral. There was no warning indicator illuminated.
I had just gotten off the hiway and then heading home on back roads when thetransmission down shifted on its own with a loud whining sound into 1st or 2nd gear while cruising around 45 MPH then it came to a stop , I was only a few minutes from home and was able to limp it home around 5mph very scary situation, could of locked up while…
The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that the vehicle registered the incorrect gear. Prior to that, the vehicle could not be de-powered until after numerous attempts. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission and the sensor needed to be replaced.
"takata recall"... I bought 2016 Chrysler Town & Country touring couple of months back & it's have 27,500 miles on it. Since I start driving this car it's having an issue with shifting the gears.
2016 Chrysler Town & Country. Consumer writes in regards to lack of communication/ service at dealership with transaxle oil pump recall repairs. The consumer stated a seven hour recall job, took eight days to complete
