Filed with NHTSA by the people who own these cars, about the engine. Quoted as written, with anything identifying removed; unverified reports — what was said, not a finding that it was true.

The vehicle transmission was stuck in neutral and could not be shifted to any other position. This occurred after backing the vehicle up a few feet and then trying to shift from reverse into drive. There is no known procedure for shutting off the engine with the shifter in any position other than park.

With 6100 miles and 7 months on my Renegade i've had to put in over 3 quarts of oil. When the oil levels drop the Jeep stalls while turning. If this issue isn't resolved an unexpecting driver could find themselves getting severely injured.
