The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic SI. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.

Honda has sent this recall notice in Feb 2024 and again in Jan 2025. I am unable to get it fixed and remedy. I am getting the run around that parts are not available. I called back in Oct 2024 and was put on a wait list. I called again 2/6/2025 and was told the same thing.

The contact stated while driving 70-75 MPH, the Hill Assist system and several other unknown warning lights were illuminated, and the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was able to veer to the edge of the shoulder of the road, where the engine turned off independently.
