Filed with NHTSA by the people who own these cars, about the transmission and drivetrain. Quoted as written, with anything identifying removed; unverified reports — what was said, not a finding that it was true.

I went to start the vehicle and it gave me a red warning "stop safely now". It was already stopped and would not start at all. It had plenty of charge on the battery pack. It's been at the dealer for nearly two weeks and they have had to order the HVJBC, I believe.

Power Train Oct 2, 2022 NHTSA owner report
Two problems on multiple separate occasions occurred. 1st problem - more than twenty (20) times car had suddenly accelerated or slowed down while driving with cruise control. This supposedly should have been resolved with an update that was downloaded around a month ago. Nothing changed, car still accelerates or slows down randomly.

When do transmission and drivetrain problems show up on the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Too few of the complaints carry an odometer reading to say. The model year's page shows the mileage curve across every system where it can.

What does NHTSA's "Power Train" heading cover?

The transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, axles and differentials — NHTSA files them under one heading. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
