Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the backup camera and parking sensors. Nothing here is a rate.

I was notified in October 2025 by Ford of a recall (NHTSA Recall 25V695) for my 2016 Ford Fusion's rear-view camera. We have contacted Ford numerous times as we have not received an additional letter stating to take the vehicle in for repair. They are claiming to only have the rear-view camera replacements for the Mustang.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the center digital screen failed to illuminate, and the screen was black while the vehicle was shifted into gear. No warning light was illuminated. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the VIN not being under recall.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while reversing, the back-over prevention camera displayed a black screen. Several minutes later, the message "Contact the Dealer" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall.
The rear view camera operates intermittently. Sometimes it works fine, other times the picture is blank or is extremely blurry with horizontal lines through it or the screen just displays snow. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. it can work in the morning, but not when I leave to go home after work.
