2016 Ford Edge titanium approx. mileage 7600 date: friday september 8, 2017 time: approximately 12:45 p.m. Location: southbound on waukegan road/us highway 41 near intersection with casimir pulaski drive (lighted intersection), waukegan illinois driving southbound in left lane on highway 41 at about 40 MPH.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact noticed an abnormal exhaust odor entering the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the issue was more prevalent while using the air conditioning unit in the vehicle. The contact was diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning and sought medical attention.

Driving down a straight road at 50 MPH on highway 41 and the check engine light / wrench icon came on at the same time I had lost all power to engine. Had to coast to side of road the car would not go any faster than 5 MPH. After stopping I turned off engine and restarted it and it would not idle under 2500 rpms.
