Some Kia owners may state that their air condition fans continue to run after the vehicle has been shut off. The Air Conditioner Auto-Dry feature will automatically run the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC) fan to dry the inside of the air conditioner system to help prevent mold growth. Kia owners may be unaware of the Air Conditioner Auto-Dry feature.

On XXX, I discovered a crack in the windshield of my 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid. The crack is on the lower passenger side, near the wiper area, forming a curved arc with additional crack lines extending across the glass. I am not aware of any rock strike or other impact, and photos taken XXX show no obvious star or bullseye impact point.

The interior surface of the windshield freezes during cold weather operation, beginning at the edges of the windshield and progressing toward the center directly into the driver’s line of sight. This significantly impairs visibility and requires approximately 20–30 minutes of vehicle warming before safe operation is possible.

We were driving down the road, no vehicles in front or to the side, when our glass moonroof exploded. Sounded like a gun going off inside the car. Immediately we saw glass pour down the back of the car, wind started to erratically shake the sunshade, which thankfully was closed at the time of the event.
