ACTION Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to: 1. Remove the Front Bumper Fascia. 2. Replace the affected Headlamp Bracket. 3. Replace the affected Front Bumper Fascia Side Bracket. 4. Reinstall the Front Bumper Fascia, with Betaseal (or equivalent) adhesive between the Front Bumper Fascia and the affected side Front Bumper Fascia Side Bracket.

2022 QX60 equipped with a Panoramic Moonroof. While in Florida 850 miles from home, I was traveling alone at about 35mph when I heard a loud explosion. It sounded like a gun shot at close range. I kept driving but observed my surroundings and there was no traffic, no construction, nothing overhead, no warning lights.

On August 8, 2026 at around 10:18am, while driving at a speed of approximately 40mph, my sunroof spontaneously exploded outwards without any external impact. The tempered glass suffered a sudden structural failure and burst outward while driving, without any external rock strike or road debris collision.
