High pressure pump failure. Already recalled but not being repaired in a timely manner. Vehicle is in dealership parking lot, site says remedy not available but there is and manufacturer is not releasing it. The high pressure pump in the newest vehicles is the remedy

The contact owns a 2019 Ram 2500. The contact stated while driving approximately 75 MPH, the vehicle lost motive and electrical power. The contact pulled over and had the vehicle towed to a local dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with needing the fuel system to be replaced.

Engine started to slip or misfire. Became worse and then light came on saying Exhaust Emission Service was needed. The truck lost power as it limped to the side of the road. The Service Electronic Ignition light then came on and truck turned off. Would not crank again

Cp4 failed while driving down the road. Lost power and could not accelerate. Coasted to the side of the road. No warning. Was stranded on the side of IH310 in New Orleans area. Beings I was out of town I had to take it to a shop where they confirmed it was a cp4 pump failure and had to replace the pump and injectors out of pocket.

Driving home one evening and truck started losing power and downshifting and completely disabled on the road. Transmission was blowing fluid out of the dipstick tube and engine was running horribly then died all of a sudden and wouldn’t start back up.
