Purchased this vehicle 8 months ago and from what I have been reading online this is an ongoing problem with Dodge Ram 2500 and this ABS module electrical issue is considered the most expensive part fixing the Dodge Ram, so how is it fair to the consumer to have to pay 3,000 for an electrical issue less than one year ago and only 35,000…
The ABS light constantly beeps and flashes. It is available for inspection. We are not sure if it is unsafe. We had it hooked up to the code machine from a dealership and they said it definitely needs to be fixed. Yes it has been confirmed. Not inspected from the Ram dealership yet because I was hoping it would be at no charge.
I put my van in drive an then it started and it started bucking and then the check engine light came on
Truck starts and dies , truck will not start if it sits for long period of time , no dash lights when this happens , takes about 40 mins to get the key to recognize/get started . When taken to the dealer ship a test was ran and said all things I describe (wrong key phobe, loss communication with igintation )
The contact owns a 2017 Ram 2500. When attempting to shift into park, the transmission became stuck in another gear and the vehicle rolled backwards. In addition, the key became stuck in the ignition when the contact attempted to turn off the vehicle. The dealer required the contact to tow in the vehicle at his expense.
