Problem Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2018 Jaguar XE, XF, E-PACE, F-PACE and F-TYPE vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine. The fuel rail end caps may leak, possibly resulting in fuel vapor or liquid fuel leaking into the engine bay. Risk A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire. Fix Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began on March 8, 2018. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H081.

While driving, the engine suddenly shut off without warning. The first incident occurred in May 2025 and stalled twice in late August 2025. Each time I lost motive power and steering/brake assist dropped, I coasted to a safe spot, turned the ignition off and back on, and the vehicle restarted.

The most serious recall counts in full and each further one counts 85% of the one before, because a vehicle sold in millions is recalled more often than a rare one without being more dangerous — and because a flat subtraction bottomed the scale out, scoring a vehicle with 22 recalls within a point of one with six.
