Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the electrical system. Nothing here is a rate.

Source: NHTSA complaint databaseFiled per calendar year, every model year together: 2016: 1 · 2017: 12 · 2018: 32 · 2019: 40 · 2020: 50 · 2021: 27 · 2022: 45 · 2023: 85 · 2024: 134 · 2025: 221 · 2026: 425

In owners’ own words

I AM older and I believe the turn signal volume is too low especially due to road noise. This is the only car I drive where it is difficult to hesr the turn signals. Honda cannot fix the volume
1. ) Fuel efficiency is not as reported; it is several mpgs lower under all conditions (highway/city). 2.) safety sensor to alert for pedestrians on sides/front do not work properly. Even service rep at dealership said she has had other reports of it not functioning properly and the sensors/system may need to be 'reset'.
Frequent loud crackling noises come from the speakers, followed by a network connection lost error message on the screen, and then the screen will go black and eventually the system will reboot. This will happen repeatedly while driving and does not depend on the state or use of the infotainment system (it can be off and still happen).
We were on a vacation 5 months after purchase and 40 minutes into our trip the entertainment system, to include audio and visual all turned off. We had to restart the entire care. Repairs were supposedly made the incident continued to happen off and on for a few months. Van was taken in on a thursday for repairs, advised it was fixed.
The issue involves the auto start/stop system on my 2025 Honda Odyssey Touring. When the feature is turned on, the vehicle intermittently fails to restart after coming to a complete stop. The problem does not occur when the start/stop system is disabled.
