Groove being gouged into rotor . Vehicle is new. Dealership will not look at. 2nd Dealership said common issue and pointed to a Bronco with the same issue. Was told a tab on the pad holders. Went to ford f150 forum and was told same thing. The problem is there is a part rubbing against the rotor and no one will do anything about it.

The parking brake has repeatedly engaged without action from the owner/operator. This seems to happen at random. The dash warning light does show upon occurrence. There is no known cause for, or understanding of, this malfunction. The Ford certified dealer could not confirm as it did not occur under their supervision when serviced.
