Showroom terms
These terms cover the Garage Showroom: the public garages at whichtrim.com/g/. They sit alongside the site’s terms of use and privacy policy, which still apply.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to publish a garage. One account, one garage.
Your photos and words stay yours
You keep every right you have in the photos, captions and lists you add. By publishing them you give WhichTrim a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, blur, crop and display them on your garage’s pages, in its link cards and story images, in Browse, and on the model-year pages of the cars they show, for as long as they are published. The licence ends when you delete a photo, stop showing your garage or delete it, apart from copies a browser or a social network has already cached.
What you promise
- Each photo is yours to publish: you took it, or the person who did gave you permission.
- It is of a car you own or have owned.
- What you add follows the content policy.
- Your garage name doesn’t pretend to be a manufacturer, a dealer, WhichTrim or another person.
The numbers on the page
Factory figures come from the manufacturer’s press kit for the model year and from EPA’s records, matched to the trim you confirmed. They describe the car as sold new, are information rather than a guarantee, and may not match a car that has been changed. Owner’s modifications and owner’s figures are yours, are labelled as yours, and are not checked by WhichTrim.
Checks, removals and reports
Every photo is checked automatically before it is published (see how photos are checked). We may hide a photo, a caption or a whole garage that breaks these terms or the content policy, or that we receive a valid copyright notice about, and we act on reports within 24 hours.
Repeat infringers
If we receive valid copyright notices about photos in the same garage three times within twelve months, and they are not answered by a valid counter-notice, that account loses the Showroom: its garage is taken down and its photos deleted. See Copyright and takedowns.
Stopping and deleting
You can stop showing your garage, or delete the Showroom with all its photos, at any time from your Garage, and both take effect at once.
We don’t sell your information
Not your photos, not your cars, not your email address. A published garage is public because you chose to publish it; nothing else about your account is.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, published garage owners get an email before the change takes effect.
