Content policy

The Showroom is about cars. Everything on a garage should be too.

Welcome

  • Photos of your car: outside, inside, the engine bay, the wheels, on a trip, at a show, half taken apart.
  • Modified, wrapped, lifted, lowered, restored and project cars.
  • Captions about the car and what you have done to it.

Not allowed

  • Nudity or sexual content of any kind.
  • Violence, gore, weapons pointed at people, or anything that celebrates harm.
  • Hate symbols, slurs, or anything that attacks people for who they are.
  • Drugs or drug use.
  • Photos of people as the subject. People in the background are blurred automatically.
  • Readable licence plates (they are blurred automatically) and anything else that identifies someone: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social handles.
  • Links, adverts, or offers to sell anything.
  • Photos that aren’t yours to publish, including manufacturers’ press photos and pictures from other sites.
  • Garage names that are abusive, or that read like a manufacturer, a dealer, WhichTrim, or another person.

Anything involving a child

Any sexual image involving a person under 18 is held, not published, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as the law requires.

What happens

Most problems are caught before a photo is published. Anything that gets through can be reported from the garage itself; we act within 24 hours, and a garage that keeps breaking these rules is taken down.
