Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the backup camera and parking sensors. Nothing here is a rate.

My report is in regard to campaign number 24V477000, Rearview Camera May Not Display. Though the manufacturer purports to have corrected the problem through an Over-The-Air update, that has not been my experience.
When vehicle is shifted to reverse gear, the parking camera will not display and instead an screen showing "Camera is temporarily unavailable". Once in this screen the rear camera does not reset itself.
The contact owns a 2021 Polestar Polestar 2. The contact stated while reversing, the contact became aware that the rearview camera failed to display an image, with the message "Camera Temporarily Unavailable". No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that a software update was required.
The ADAS when reversing does not work properly. While reversing, not only is the ADAS operational but the rear camera is displayed on the infotainment screen, however, over the past year occurring more frequently the screen indicates it's unavailability and we are forced to reverse without the camera.
Almost everyday I back out of my driveway and the backup camera either doesn't start at all (it says 'temporarily unavailable' - but oddly seems to work a few minutes later). Or it flickers so badly and slowly between an overhead view and backup that its hard to see. This has caused multiple near misses.
