Counts are owner reports to NHTSA, not verified defects, and scale with how many of these were sold; nothing here is a rate. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so “Fuel/Propulsion System” means the same area of the vehicle, not one fault.

While driving around PM on Thursday, , the Focus Electric displayed a "Stop Safely Now" message and proceeded to cut power going to the electric motor, allowing the car only to coast as if it was in neutral. Luckily no vehicles were around in my lanes, as that easily could've caused an accident.
Anytime I try to make any sort of turn in this vehicle, trying to accelerate into the turn I essentially get stalled out even though the gas pedal is engaged and trying to power the vehicle to make the turn.
Had a recall for a fuel tank issue. The Ford dealership performed and inspection and it passed. Nothing else was done. Now, I AM having the issues with my fuel tank as noted in the recall, however, because the inspection passed, the recall was cancelled and Ford will not fix the issue has they noted it originally.
The engine tends to stall at times, have to pump the gas pedal to keep it running. Car in motion. Has happened many times for almost the time we bought it
My car has a recall from oct, 22nd, 2018. The NHTSA recall number is 18v735. Till apr 12th, 2019, the remedy program is still unavailable. I was curious if it is normal? Do I just wait and the manufacturer will inform owners when it is available? Thanks!

When do fuel system problems show up on the 2017 Ford Focus?
Owners who gave an odometer reading reported it at a median of 58,000 miles; half of them between 45,000 and 82,000. That is when reports cluster, not the life of a part.
What does NHTSA's "Fuel/Propulsion System" heading cover?
Fuel tanks, lines, pumps and injection — and on an EV, the propulsion battery and motors. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
