Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2020-2023 CLS (257 platform), E-Class (213 and 238 platform), GLE (167 platform), and AMG GT 4-Door (290 platform) vehicles, the engine control unit software does not correspond to current production specifications. As a consequence, the functionality of the post-catalyst oxygen sensor may be impaired due to increased thermal loading . MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software.

The left side of the digital instrument cluster in my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 intermittently goes completely blank while driving. When this occurs, I cannot see critical vehicle information, including my speed, fuel level, warning indicators, and other important vehicle functions. The failure happens randomly and without warning.

Dashboard screen went black. No information available. Speed, RPM, all warning lights, turn signal lights and all information like fuel level etc. Everything total blank…happened twice and reported to MB dealership but they could not replicate the issue. Have photo of blank screen. Not aware of speed while driving or any warnings
