Audi bulletin A4323732051336_7

What it saysThis bulletin advises that if the warning lamp for the damper control in the instrument cluster is on, and DTC B200FF0 is stored to delete the DTC and perform suspension basic settings. NHTSA’s full summary ↓

Audi filed this with NHTSA as a service bulletin dated May 19, 2023, received Jun 6, 2023, about the electrical system. It names 36 model years (2017–2024). A service bulletin is not a safety recall: it is the manufacturer telling its dealers how to diagnose or repair a condition, and whether the work is paid for depends on the warranty in force. Quoting the number at a service desk can save a diagnosis.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

Owners of the 35 model years this bulletin names have filed 597 complaints with NHTSA since 2015. 246 of them name Electrical System — the same broad component group this bulletin is filed under. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so that means the same area of the vehicle, not necessarily the same fault.

2024 Audi A5 · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Nov 25, 2025 · ODI 11701394

The MMI/ radio shuts off and reboots at least every 5-6 minutes. When it comes back up, I get the error “user hasn’t been detected for some time”. Every time it shuts off it is 30 seconds to a minute where nothing in my MMI is accessible. This began around late June of 2025. No warning lights or error codes have been found.

2020 Audi A5 · Electrical System · filed with NHTSA Jul 12, 2025 · ODI 11673066

I drive an 2019 Audi A5 and there is a terrible Auto start/stop malfunction and cruise control malfunction that has made this car unsafe to drive. The Auto start is featured on the A5 to "save gas," but however malfunctions and cuts off while driving or coming to a stop. Tonight on 1/21/2025 at 1:44 am it did just that.

Common questions

Source: NHTSA, 49 CFR 579.5

Is Audi A4323732051336_7 a recall?

No. A service bulletin is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.

Is the A4323732051336_7 repair free?

Not automatically. A service bulletin describes how to diagnose or repair a condition; who pays depends on the warranty in force, any extension, and the dealer. Quoting the number can save a diagnosis either way.

Which vehicles does A4323732051336_7 cover?

The manufacturer filed it against 36 model years: 2024 Audi A4, 2023 Audi A4, 2022 Audi A4, 2021 Audi A4, 2020 Audi A4, 2019 Audi A4 and more. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
