Problem Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan 4 Electric vehicles. The front seat air bags may be improperly secured to the backrest frame, which can prevent the air bags from deploying properly. Risk An improper air bag deployment can increase the risk of injury during a crash. In addition, an improperly secured air bag may project loose components into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury. Fix Dealers will inspect and repair the backrest frame screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on September 26, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA7.

Problem Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles. The rearview camera may show a blurry image or fail to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility." Risk A rearview camera that does not display an image decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will update the control unit software, inspect, and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 23, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA3.

Problem Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles. The headlights may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, which may adversely affect the vision of drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Risk Headlights that are excessively bright can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Fix Dealers will reprogram the headlight control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARC5.

Collion Warning alarm came on with full application of brakes with no vehicles in front or behind. No onward traffic either. Visibility was clear, and driving conditions good. Driving at 35-40 mph. Informed dealer three times (and three different individuals) on December 31 and despite a bevy of promises they have taken no action.

The dashboard has a clear outline of the passenger side airbag and the seam is ripping which is the structural/interior area. I took it to Porsche on June 24, 2026 and they are replacing the dashboard as of today August 17, 2026 they are telling me the dashboard will be here September 28, 2026.

Steering Gear. It has been replaced and is not available to inspect. I was unable to turn the steering wheel and had an auto accident as a result. The dealer inspected the vehicle and replaced the steering gear under warranty. It is probable that the defective gear was sent by the dealer to the manufacturer to inspect.

I was driving home in my 2024 Porsche Macan 4 EV, at about 65 miles per hour on a divided highway. I had my climate control set to 75 degrees on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. I believe that the air conditioning was set to off. I also had the drivers seat heated at the max setting. I was alone in my vehicle.

The most serious recall counts in full and each further one counts 85% of the one before, because a vehicle sold in millions is recalled more often than a rare one without being more dangerous — and because a flat subtraction bottomed the scale out, scoring a vehicle with 22 recalls within a point of one with six.
