The contact owned a 2018 Honda Cr-V. The contact stated that she does not remember how the vehicle ended in a ditch. No air bags deployed. The contact sustained injuries to the right side of her body, laceration to the forearm, fractured l1, and a concussion. No police report was filed. The vehicle was towed.
After running the vehicle for more than 10-15 miles from start the steering sticks and jerky while making a curve and won't move back out of this catch without applying an extra force. This could cause the vehicle to cut the lane unintentionally and is dangerous.
When steering far to right or left while traveling on a highway or street and then straightening up there is a jerk or catch as if something is caught in the steering mechanism
Was driving on the highway and it started to lightly rain and I received the following error on my dashboard "some driver assist systems cannot operate : radar obstructed" and my truck started to brake by itself. I pulled over on the side of the highway and didn't see anything obstructing the sensors.
I have a 2018 Honda Cr-V. The front end and steering is noisy, clicks, knocks bangs while turning the wheel. While driving on a street, highway or interstate, around curves the steering and front end jerks. It is hard to keep it on the road. Car has approximately 42,000 miles.

- Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Honda Civic and CR-V vehicles. The magnet that controls the torque sensor output signal for the electronic power steering system may not be properly secured, allowing the magnet to become dislodged. During a full lock turn, the dislodged magnet may cause steering assist to be applied in the opposite direction.
