Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the electrical system. Nothing here is a rate.

The horn is very hard to honk. It takes my wife both hands to activate the horn. I have seen similar complaints on the computer. I have been back and forth with a GM representative for about 5 moths and have gotten nowhere. They apparently do not see this as a safety concern. I do.
Horn will not honk unless excessive pressure is applied. It takes 2 hands to honk the horn. I have never seen a horn that required more than 1 finger to honk
When putting my vehicle in park and pressing the engine off button, I get an error message "shift to park", and the vehicle beeps and will not turn off the electrical, but the car is already in park. I AM unable to turn off my vehicle completely.

We have had our 2019 Gmc Acadia at two different dealershiips, recently we had it at the dealership where we purchased it new in 2019. The door locks keep malfunctioning where they either work or don;t work at times. My wife and child get locked out of the vehicle which is a safety issue.
