Vehicle completely shut down while driving. No working lights and unable to put vehicle in neutral. Was stuck in a lane of traffic with nothing working. Same issue happened less than 2 weeks ago, dealership had the vehicle for 7 days and said they found nothing wrong and couldn’t fix it.
Within minutes of turning off my vehicle, I get the alert “ my vehicle equipped with FordPass(TM) Connect has entered Deep Sleep mode to conserve battery energy. Remote features including start/stop and lock/unlock may be temporarily unavailable because your battery” we have had it in the ford service center several times to try to…
After I turned on the car, unbeknownst to me, the Ford Bronco stayed revved up and it did not slow down. I then switched from park to reverse and the Bronco went so fast (>4000rpm) that I ended up hitting the tree so hard that the tree was uprooted. The car was not driveable and it had to be towed.
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not drivable. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front belt and two coolant hoses needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
There is an electrical issue with the cars running lights, headlights and interior lighting. Intermittently, when the car is shut off and either locked or unlocked, the cars running lights, and/or headlights, and/or interior lighting fail to shut off. This occurs BEYOND the 30 to60 minute delay feature.
