Check engine light came on due to a P1098 and I received a reduced acceleration advisory. This greatly diminished the performance of the vehicle and made it a hazard to continue on the highway
The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving 72 MPH, the vehicle shut off, and shifted into neutral(N) inadvertently. The contact stated that the vehicle was coasted over to the side of the road. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated.
Our family of 5 (including 2 children and an infant) was driving 70 mph westbound on Interstate 40 east of Knoxville, TN when our 2022 Tahoe RST engine seized. For a few seconds, we had no steering, braking or acceleration and the dashboard began flashing.
Car started ticking and loosing power Exited and car stalled and car towed to nearest dealer Capital Chevrolet in Montgomery Al. It has been there since 5-26-23. They first told us engine crankshaft blown, then said they will repair but parts on back order and no estimated EPA. GM customer service has been involved but no help
On June 1st, I was put in a very dangerous situation while driving on the highway. Out of nowhere, my vehicle’s engine started clicking and immediately converted to a rough in the middle of highway traffic. I was terribly afraid from my life.
