Counts are owner reports to NHTSA, not verified defects, and scale with how many of these were sold; nothing here is a rate. NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so “Engine” means the same area of the vehicle, not one fault.

Vehicle was re-started after running into a store, vehicle made loud growling noise from engine compartment and Service Engine Soon light came on. Took truck to dealer for diagnosis and repairs.
I have found between the last two oil changes, I have had to add 1-1/2 to 2 quarts of oil. I first thought that maybe the oil was not refilled fully but after the second time I asked the dealer about this and they said that the engine may need up to 2 quarts of oil added between oil changes. SERIOUSLY?!
On June 16, 2024, my vehicle stalled on a 70 mph interstate. I was able to get to the side and attempt to restart. After ten minutes, the vehicle restarted and I received a message of "Low Battery". I drove it immediately to the dealership and advised service.
at about 20k miles the valve body went out. When coming off the brake and pressing the gas the engine was jerking. The engine light came on and then started to downshift. The truck was towed to the dealer and they said a few days later it was the valve body.
Vehicle continues to go into limp mode causing us to be stranded on the side of the road. It is related to DEF injection system issues. It sounds like this is a known issue with the software. We purchased the vehicle in August and have been unable to use the truck since purchasing as it continues to leave us stranded.
