Engine began to shudder, vibrate and lose power on the highway. Multiple codes were eliminated - check engine, service park brake, service ESC, service emissions system. Loss of motive power is a safety issue. Vehicle currently at the dealer for service. I have been notified it is a lifter issue and major engine repair required.
while stopped,engine running,in gear,foot on brake the truck lurched forward approx 2-3 feet. when i tried to pull forward the engine was revving a much higher rpm's. moved down road approx.

The lifters in the truck are failing, a brand new truck 12,000 miles on it and the lifters have failed. Which is also leading to an oil problem. They are trying to only fox one bank of lifters instead of replacing both. Due to them wanting to wait until the fail.
