Nissan service campaign PD175

Nissan filed this with NHTSA as a service campaign dated Oct 15, 2025, received Oct 21, 2025, about the electrical system — 2 documents under this number: NTB25-046. It names 1 model year (2025). A service campaign is not a safety recall — there is no NHTSA campaign number and no federal requirement — but it is usually work the manufacturer pays for on the vehicles it names; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.

What the bulletin says

*****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is conducting a service campaign on certain model year 2025 Nissan Rogue vehicles identified in Service Comm and National Service History – Open Campaigns. On affected vehicles, some NissanConnect Services subscribers are unable to access the remote engine start/stop and climate (RES) features via both the mobile app and the web portal. Customers are still able to use the key fob to remotely start their vehicle. To restore NissanConnect Services subscribers’ RES feature through the mobile app and web portal, your Nissan dealer will reconfigure the Body Control Module (BCM). *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this service campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PD175 2. If a retailed vehicle affected by this Campaign ID visits the dealer for service, the dealer should inform the customer about the service campaign and communicate the reconfiguration is available. 3. Once remedied, dealers should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed in Service Comm and release the vehicle to the customer.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

Common questions

Source: NHTSA, 49 CFR 579.5

Is Nissan PD175 a recall?

No. A service campaign is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.

Is the PD175 repair free?

A service campaign is usually paid by the manufacturer on the vehicles it names, within the terms and time limit the document sets; the dealer checks the VIN against the manufacturer’s list.

Which vehicles does PD175 cover?

The manufacturer filed it against 1 model year: 2025 Nissan Rogue. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
