The improved software reduces power consumption from the vehicle’s auxiliary battery and enhances its performance by preventing the vehicle's auto-flush door handles from remaining extended for prolonged periods when a smartphone with Digital Key 2 remains nearby the parked vehicle. To extend the auto-flush door handles in this circumstance, the driver should press the lock/unlock indentation on either front door handle.
