On February 27th, 2026, around 2:00 PM, while driving my 2024 Infinity QX60 on Hwy. 459 in Birmingham, AL, at approximately 70 mph in heavy traffic, the engine suddenly shut down completely and shifted into neutral without any prior warning lights, noises, or symptoms.

The liftgate is not merely a matter of inconvenience. Its repeated failure directly interferes with my ability to enter, exit, and safely use the vehicle. I am concerned that the liftgate could also fail during an emergency or close, latch, or operate unpredictably.
