For over 12 months since October 2025, the vehicle has intermittently (and progressively more regularly) thrown multiple, concurrent dash warnings/error messages for multiple vehicle functions, followed typically by (and without driver input) shifting the vehicle automatically into Neutral or Park while on and in gear.

The back up camera has failed to display on the radio screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse on multiple occasions. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio has poor rear visibility due to a small rear window placed at a relatively shallow angle making the backup camera a necessary safety feature to safely operate the vehicle.
