The engine periodically lags and is not responsive when pedal is pressed. When the engine catches up, the RPMs skyrocket
After making a complete stop, there is an extended delay around 3 seconds before the truck responds to the gas pedal being pressed. When it does respond it launches forward and causes the tires to break free. This has almost caused at least 7 accidents
The truck has a hesitation with the throttle and does not move for a few seconds causing a safety concern.0
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while driving uphill at approximately 10 MPH, a loud abnormal sound was coming from the bottom of the vehicle. The contact merged to the shoulder of the road and inspected the vehicle when a bystander informed that three bearings were seen detaching from the vehicle.
Engine seems to stall at acceleration from low speed. Basically, a dead pedal response. For instance, upon slowing down to near stop to enter a roundabout or an unmarked 4 way intersection(yield to enter intersection without stopping) vehicle has noticed throttle lag.

What does NHTSA's "Power Train" heading cover?
The transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, axles and differentials — NHTSA files them under one heading. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
