Two things the counts carry that are not the car: how many of each year were sold, and how long each has been on the road — an older year out-counts a newer one before anything is wrong with it. The share column is the honest comparison across years: what part of that year’s complaints named the electrical system. Nothing here is a rate.

Factory radio keeps rebooting on its own. It does it sometimes 10 times within 30min. I only use the bluetooth feature. It does this while moving and sitting still
The radio will randomly come on for a second when the car is off. I have went out to get something out of the trunk & this has happened & I have also went out to leave & when I walk outside the radio in the car is playing when the car has not been driven since the prior day. I AM concerned about this issue draining the car battery.
The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 20 MPH, the self-driving feature inadvertently activated, and the vehicle experienced phantom braking. The traction control warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the key fob was not detected while inside the vehicle.
was driving down the highway nothing in front of me my car hit the brakes and flashed warning on the dash and made me come to a stop after this happened my fuel economy decreased over 100 miles per tank other times it just activates and taps the brakes for no reason also every window except the driver window gets stuck several times a…
Model 2016 already needs the transmission replaced. Happens often - the dealers even stock it. Will only guarantee the work for one year, as this is a known issue with several class action lawsuits. Car stalls constantly, high and low speeds and must be pushed off the road. Had to tow it to the dealer

Common questions
Source: NHTSA complaint database, recalls and manufacturer communicationsWhich Nissan Sentra years have the most electrical complaints?
2019, 65; 2020, 45; 2016, 45. Raw counts, and an older year has had longer to collect them; by share of each year's own complaints the loudest is the 2023 (40%).

Yes — 3 campaigns are filed under this heading across these model years: 18V551000 (2017), 16V485000 (2016), 16V436000 (2016). A recall is matched by VIN, and applies to specific years; check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
When do electrical problems show up on the Nissan Sentra?
Owners who gave an odometer reading reported it at a median of 40,000 miles across the model years; half of them between 21,000 and 60,000. That is when reports cluster, not the life of a part.
What does NHTSA's "Electrical System" heading cover?
Wiring, modules, batteries, charging, infotainment and driver displays — NHTSA's broadest heading. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
