The vehicle is a 2022 Jeep wrangler with less than 6800 miles and is completely stock as delivered by the factory. On 12/17/2022 I was driving my 2022 completely stock (unmodified) Jeep Wrangler 4x4 on a paved city street at approximately 55 mph.

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while his wife was driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle experienced the death wobble. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering damper needed to be replaced; however, the replacement part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired.

My 2022 Wrangler Hybrid only has 6500 miles on it and it had two significant/scary events. First, the motor cut out while driving on the expressway. Fortunately I was able to pull all the way over and start it up again but it was dangerous and scary.

The contact stated while driving 35 MPH over a shift in the pavement between the end of the road surface and a bridge, the steering wheel started shuddering violently. The contact stated that as she depressed the brake pedal and veered to the side of the road the failure stopped.
