The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly and the rearview camera image had been distorted for three consecutive days.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the reverse camera displayed a hazy and obscured view while the vehicle is in reverse. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the camera needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle was not repaired.
I purchased my 2019 Ford F-150 used in October of 2022 directly from a Ford dealer. The reverse view on the infotainment screen was foggy at the time of purchase due to moisture in the rear view camera.
