I have reported my brake pedal that goes to the floor directly to ford's F-150 engineer. I was told my truck's brakes are normal. Today, in a business parking lot my brake pedal went to the floor and I lost the ability to stop and ran into the car in front of my parking spot. I had my kids and in-laws in the truck with me.

What does NHTSA's "Service Brakes" heading cover?
The hydraulic brakes, ABS and brake assist. Owners choose the heading when they file, so it says which area of the vehicle the complaint is about, not which part failed.
