Volvo Car Investigations have identified the oil plugs for the TVDC may not be torqued properly. The corrective action is to check the torque on the TVDC oil plugs and replace the oil plugs if found to be leaking. NOTE: If no leakage is found torque the oil plug screws according to the instruction. If leakage is found the oil plug screws are not to be reused and must be replaced. We expect only a small number of vehicles will need to replace the oil plug screws. S10306 affects 1,995 vehicles in the U.S and 194 in Canada.
