In rare cases, the engine malfunction indicator lamp might not illuminate when a diagnostic fault condition is present. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the 48V battery control unit software on affected vehicles. Affected customers will be notified via in-vehicle notification or First-Class letter to have the update performed on their vehicle.
