ACTION 1. Confirm the current Distance Sensor control unit part number. 2. Reprogram the Distance Sensor control unit, if applicable. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. The request to replace the rear brake pads was declined. There were no warning indications. The failure mileage was 21787. Infiniti was contacted, but no assistance was offered

On March 30, 2026, INFINITI of Naperville performed a multi-point inspection (RO 114984) on my 2025 Infiniti QX60 at 10,507 miles and measured both rear brake pads at 6mm. On October 13, 2026, at 15,467 miles, the same dealership measured both rear brake pads at 3mm — 3mm of wear in approximately 4,960 miles, evenly on both sides.

The car lurches forward 3-5 inches when it is shifted into park. This happens regardless of flat ground or on an incline. This issue has happened since the purchase of the car in February 2023. I had the car inspected by Infiniti and they found no issues with the brakes/rotors or braking system.
