Some 2025 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 30-Jun-2025 and 2024 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit a flashing light on the air conditioning (A/C) button with a lack of heat and/or A/C with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1717:06 stored in the heat pump valve control module (HPVCM). This may be due to the software in the HPVCM. To correct the condition, reprogram the HPVCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). If the DTC remains this may be due to the "Heat Pump Vacuum Lock Release Sequence" application performance in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). The "Heat Pump Vacuum Lock Release Sequence" application has been updated in FDRS to operate properly. For claiming, use causal part 14H266 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.

Bought car in March 2026. Twice while driving car in heavy traffic on highway using BlueCruise car slowed down on its own and warning message read "vehicle is stopping" (this happened first in early July and again in mid-August). Both times happened while in middle lane of traffic, creating safety concern for pulling over.

While driving at speed on public roads on , the primary 12-inch digital instrument cluster suffered a total blackout while the vehicle was powered and moving. The failure eliminated all speedometer readings, battery state-of-charge indicators, gear selections, and safety telltales/warning lights in violation of FMVSS 101.

The main screen of the Mach is is uncontrollably restarting at random. This means the backup camera and any visual camera sensors are effectively unsable. Same with radio, hvac, car settings, etc. tons of people on Reddit complaining too
