What it saysThis bulletin provides information for when the emergency call warning appears in the instrument cluster when leaving an area of cellular coverage. NHTSA’s full summary ↓
Audi filed this with NHTSA as a service bulletin dated Jun 8, 2023, received Jul 10, 2023, about the electrical system. It names 12 model years (2019). A service bulletin is not a safety recall: it is the manufacturer telling its dealers how to diagnose or repair a condition, and whether the work is paid for depends on the warranty in force. Quoting the number at a service desk can save a diagnosis.

The summary is NHTSA’s abstract of the document, as filed under 49 CFR 579.5. One communication is usually filed as several documents — the bulletin, a dealer notice, an owner letter — and the number on any of them finds this page. A PDF link is shown only once NHTSA’s own server has been seen to serve that document; the rest are checked over the following nights. Quote the number at a service desk; it is what the dealer’s system is keyed on.

What owners reported

NHTSA groups complaints coarsely, so that means the same area of the vehicle, not necessarily the same fault.
I am reaching out to update complaint number 11503265. Back in October of 2022, my vehicle turned off on me one time at the gas station and would not start until I waited 5 minutes. The vehicle did the same thing about 15 minutes later after I arrived at a friends' house. Following that incident later on that night it happened again.

The Auto start is featured on the A5 to "save gas," but however malfunctions and cuts off while driving or coming to a stop. Tonight on 1/21/2025 at 1:44 am it did just that.

No. A service bulletin is a manufacturer communication filed with NHTSA under 49 CFR 579.5; a safety recall carries an NHTSA campaign number (two digits, a letter, six digits) and a federal duty to repair for free. Check the vehicle’s recalls by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls, or on its page here.
Is the A9123032070046_2 repair free?
Not automatically. A service bulletin describes how to diagnose or repair a condition; who pays depends on the warranty in force, any extension, and the dealer. Quoting the number can save a diagnosis either way.
Which vehicles does A9123032070046_2 cover?
The manufacturer filed it against 12 model years: 2019 Audi A4, 2019 Audi A5, 2019 Audi A6, 2019 Audi A7, 2019 Audi A8, 2019 Audi Q5 and more. Whether one particular vehicle is affected is a matter of its VIN and its build, not its model year alone.
